A 10-Week Group Coaching experience Through religious Deconstruction

When the beliefs that once gave your life structure begin to shift, the journey can feel disorienting and deeply lonely. You may find yourself carrying questions you were once afraid to ask, grieving a faith that shaped you, or wondering where you belong now.

Honoring the Wilderness Together is a warm, compassionate group coaching experience for people in the throes of faith deconstruction who are longing for direction, community, and connection.

For ten weeks, we will gather in a supportive space where your questions are welcome, your grief is honored, and no one will pressure you to reach a particular theological destination. Together, we will explore the fears, losses, relationships, and possibilities that emerge when certainty falls away.

You do not have to navigate the wilderness alone.

Our Ten-Week Journey

Week 1: When the Ground Shifts

We will begin by naming what happens when beliefs that once felt certain begin to move beneath us. You will have space to recognize where you are, what brought you here, and what you need for the journey ahead.

Week 2: Fear: The Gatekeeper of Change

Fear often appears when we begin questioning the beliefs and identities that once kept us safe. We will explore what your fear may be protecting and how you can move forward with greater curiosity and self-trust.

Week 3: Rapture Trauma: Letting Go of Apocalyptic Anxiety

Teachings about the end times can leave lasting patterns of anxiety, hypervigilance, and fear. We will gently examine these messages and begin creating a greater sense of safety in the present moment.

Week 4: Sacred Grief: Mourning the Faith That Formed You

Deconstruction can involve profound loss, even when leaving old beliefs brings freedom. We will honor the people, communities, identities, dreams, and versions of God you may be grieving.

Week 5: Family Ties: Telling the Truth Without Burning the Bridge

Sharing your changing beliefs with family and friends can feel complicated and costly. We will explore healthy boundaries, thoughtful communication, and ways to remain true to yourself while caring for the relationships that matter to you.

Week 6: Does the Bible Really Tell Me So?

Many of us inherited a single way of reading the Bible and were told it was the only faithful one. We will examine how interpretation is shaped and consider new ways of engaging scripture with honesty, context, and curiosity.

Week 7: The Ghosts of Guilt & Shame

Old messages about sin, doubt, obedience, and belonging can continue haunting us long after our beliefs have changed. We will learn to recognize these lingering voices and begin loosening their hold on our lives.

Week 8: Finding Your People

Leaving a faith community can create an aching sense of isolation. We will explore how to form meaningful relationships and cultivate community where questions, differences, and your whole self are welcome.

Week 9: Spirit Reimagined

What might a relationship with the Divine look like outside the structures and language you once knew? We will make room for wonder, mystery, presence, and new ways of experiencing what feels sacred.

Week 10: Honoring Your Journey Moving Forward

We will gather what you have discovered and consider the path ahead. You will leave with greater clarity, meaningful connections, and practices for continuing your journey with courage and compassion.
